| Infection Control / Employee Health Services is responsible for the education and implementation of regulatory agency guidelines governing the transmission and prevention of communicable diseases and illnesses among hospital employees and patients. |
INFECTION CONTROL is responsible for the surveillance of patient and employee infection rates as well as certain communicable diseases.
EMPLOYEE HEALTH provides employee health services to all employees, students, and volunteers of WRMC. This includes initial immunization screening and inoculation for communicable diseases when employees are hired and on an annual basis, and follow-up on employee accidents and bloodborne or airborne pathogen exposures.
