Admission Procedure

Please make checks payable to WRMC.
- An application packet can be mailed upon request, OR you may download an application on line to fill out and mail in.
- Download 3 reference forms. These are to be sent directly to the program office by the person who is asked to provide the reference for the applicant.
- After receipt of application, transcripts and placement test results, and upon request of the applicant, dates are arranged for observation and interviews.
- During observations and interviews, applicants are to review the published student handbook, and have all questions and concerns addressed.
- The Admissions Committee will review and evaluate all available data concerning each applicant.
- Applicants who have completed all observations and met all required criteria, and are accepted or rejected by the admissions committee will be notified. In order to participate in the clinical component of the program, Program Entrants must show documentation of: a positive Rubella titer, satisfactory pre-entrance evaluation, up-to-date immunization status, and satisfactory completion of WRMC's institutional screening which includes a SBI background check, limited medical screen, and a drug screen. (This is to be in compliance with WRMC's requirements for all personnel. Should the drug/alcohol screen prove positive, WRMC reserves the right to request that a second drug screening be performed. If the second screen proves positive, or should the physical screen or background check reveal that the entrant is unsuitable for the position, final admission will be denied.
- Applicants accepted into the program will receive a contract agreeing to accept the appointment, which must be signed, returned by noted due date, and accompanied with a Book deposit which is non-refundable.
- Applicants who state they voluntarily desire to participate in WRMC's Work/Study/Scholarship Program will receive a request form that is to be signed, dated, and returned to the program by a specified deadline.
- Additional data will be mailed to the accepted applicants, including the Student Handbook, uniform requirements, suggested school and personal supplies. Handouts on basic information expected to be mastered before starting the program, on the cell, atom, skeleton, math, and terminology will be sent.
- Application forms, health forms, and other personal data concerning each applicant will be kept on file in the student's record and maintained in a confidential manner by the Program Director.
